Jennifer Matera

Jennifer Matera has extensive work experience in the field of laboratory operations. Jennifer'smost recent position was as the Laboratory Director at Pullman Regional Hospital, a role they have held since 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Laboratory Operations Director at TriCore Reference Laboratories from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for managing eight hospital laboratories across six cities in New Mexico. Jennifer's career also includes a long tenure at Quest Diagnostics, where they held multiple positions with increasing responsibility from 1994 to 2013. These positions included Supervisor of Specimen Processing, Six Sigma Black Belt, Laboratory Manager of Hematology, UA, and Coag, as well as a contracted Laboratory Manager for a 400 bed inner city hospital. Throughout their career, Jennifer has developed a solid foundation in laboratory practices, quality control, method validation, and compliance with CAP/JC standards.

Jennifer Matera has a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, which they obtained from 1979 to 1983. Jennifer also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, which they earned from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained an ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) in June 1983.
