Dr. Richard Nuccitelli is the Chief Science Officer at Pulse Biosciences, a company developing electroceutical medical devices using the Nano-Pulse Stimulation platform technology to treat cancer. Richard is also a Professor at Old Dominion University.

Dr. Nuccitelli has over 40 years of experience in the field of bioelectrics. Richard began their career as a Professor at UC Davis, where they researched and developed nanosecond pulsed electric field technology for treating cancer. In 2001, they became the Vice President for Research and Development of Bioelectromed Corp., where they oversaw the development of a commercial nanosecond pulsed electric field device for treating cancer.

In 2014, Dr. Nuccitelli joined Electroblate Inc. as their Chief Science Officer. During their time there, they directed research and development for the company. In 2015, they left Electroblate Inc. to join Pulse Biosciences as their Chief Science Officer.

At Pulse Biosciences, Dr. Nuccitelli is responsible for directing research and development for the company. Richard is also a Professor at Old Dominion University Center for Bioelectrics, where they continue to research nanosecond pulsed electric field technology for treating cancer.

Richard Nuccitelli has a BS from Santa Clara University in Physics and an MS and Ph.D. from Purdue University in Biological Sciences with a focus in Biophysics.
