Richard Shade

Richard Shade is a customer experience architect at Pulumi. Richard has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on cloud computing. Richard began their career as a software engineer with ELC Technologies. Richard then transitioned to a role as a CTI admin with Effective Teleservices. In 2005, they became an ITS leader with Etech Inc. Richard then joined Flexera in 2007 as an integration engineer. In 2018, they were promoted to senior cloud solutions architect. In this role, they work with sales and professional services engineers to design and implement multi-cloud architectures that meet their client criteria for scalability, automation (DevOps), and FinOps metrics. Richard also designs and builds tools that enable the acquisition and ease of implementation of new customers.
