J. Tate Deskins

J. Tate Deskins is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in predictive analytics and data modeling. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Pumpkin since March 2023, Deskins previously held multiple roles at Farmers Insurance from August 2019 to March 2023, including Predictive Analytics Manager I and Sr. Predictive Analyst. Prior experience includes positions as Engine Developer at Glass Frog LLC, Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher at Case Western Reserve University, and positions in web development and database management within various university groups. Academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Physics from Case Western Reserve University and a B.A. in Physics/Mathematics from Kenyon College, with notable research in the fields of Dark Energy and early Universe Cosmology.
