Santiago Restrepo Merino has extensive work experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and market research. Santiago started their career in 2004 at Telefónica Colombia, where they held various roles, including Analyst in Revenue Assurance and Manager in Market Research and Demand Management. In these positions, they were responsible for optimizing campaigns, developing analytical models, and coordinating market research activities. Santiago then joined Puntos Colombia in 2019 as the Director of Business Intelligence, where they focused on developing advanced analytical capabilities and personalized content for clients and partners. In 2020, they became the Director of BI & CRM, leading the company's business intelligence and customer relationship management efforts. Currently, Santiago holds the position of Director of Data & Strategy at Puntos Colombia.

Santiago Restrepo Merino has a diverse education history. In 1999 to 2004, they attended Escuela Colombiana de Ingeniería Julio Garavito, where they earned a degree in Ingeniero de Sistemas. In 2008, they pursued further specialization in Ingeniería industrial at Universidad de Los Andes, obtaining a degree as Especialista en Gerencia de Empresas de Telecomunicaciones. In 2011, they attended Politécnico Grancolombiano, completing a Diplomado en Estrategias para la Productividad. Later in 2014, they enrolled in Universitas Telefonica to participate in the Global Management Programme. Lastly, in 2016, they attended Synergic Partners and completed a course on New Analytics through Data Science & Bigdata.
