Katharine Barber

Katharine Barber currently serves as Partner and Heritage Team Lead for London and the South East at Purcell, a position held since December 2012. Previously, Katharine held the role of Principal Heritage Consultant at Wessex Archaeology from 2005 to November 2012, and served as Heritage Project and Research Officer at Arch Tech Ltd from 2002 to 2005. Earlier experience includes positions as Archaeological Project and Research Officer/Field Archaeologist at Irish Archaeological Consultancy Ltd from 1999 to 2002, and as a Field Archaeologist at Archaeological Development Services in 1999. Katharine Barber holds a Master of Studies (MSt) in History of Design from the University of Oxford and a BA Hons in History and Archaeology from the University of Leicester.
