Tanner Ball

Tanner Ball has a diverse range of work experience, including roles in athletics, event management, law, and sales. Tanner is currently the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Purdue Athletics. Prior to this, they worked at East Tennessee State University as an Assistant to the Athletic Director for External Initiatives & Special Projects. Tanner also held various roles at East Tennessee State University, such as Graduate Assistant in Athletic Development and Assistant to the Associate Athletic Director for Advancement. In addition, Tanner has experience in game operations as the Game Operations Director for MGM Grand Showcase and Buckets and Boots Showcase. Tanner has also worked as a Law Office Clerk at Ball & Scott Law and as a Citi Open Ticket Sales & Hospitality Associate at Lagardère Unlimited. Tanner's earliest work experience includes being a Student Manager for the University of Tennessee Men's Basketball Program.

Tanner Ball began their education journey in 2009 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management, with a minor in Business Administration. Tanner completed their undergraduate studies and graduated from the university in 2013. Subsequently, in 2014, Ball enrolled in East Tennessee State University to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), which they completed in 2016. Afterward, Tanner Ball continued their academic pursuits at The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree between 2015 and 2018.
