Abraham (Abe) Schwab is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in philosophy and bioethics. Currently serving as Chair of the Psychology Department, Director of Graduate Studies, and Professor of Philosophy at Purdue University Fort Wayne since 2010, Schwab has also held roles as Director of Ethics Across the Curriculum and both Associate and Assistant Professor. In addition, Schwab has been affiliated with the Bioethics Program at Clarkson University and Mt. Sinai Icahn School of Medicine as Associate Faculty since 2009, where mentorship and teaching play key roles. Prior positions include Assistant Professor at City University of New York from 2006 to 2010 and Senior Fellow at the American Medical Association from 2005 to 2006. Academic credentials include a PhD and Master of Arts in Applied Ethics from Loyola University Chicago and a BA in Philosophy from Drake University.
