Sherif Elfayoumy

Sherif Elfayoumy currently serves as the Dean at Purdue University Fort Wayne, focusing on enhancing student learning experiences to shape the future of technology since July 2023. Prior to this role, Sherif held various positions at the University of North Florida from July 2000 to July 2023, including Director, Professor, and FIS Distinguished Professor of Computing and Information Sciences. Additional academic experience includes an Associate Professorship at the American University in Cairo from August 2009 to July 2010. Sherif's industry experience features leadership roles in architecture and research and development at companies such as IxReveal and Intelligenxia, as well as positions at McGraw Software, CEDARE, and the Information and Decision Support Center. Sherif obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisville between 1996 and 2000.
