Yiru Zhang

Yiru Zhang is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in technical leadership and automation. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Pure Storage since August 2018 and as Automation Lead at Vital Connect since October 2017, Yiru has honed skills in various programming languages and technologies. Prior experience includes over 19 years at Cisco in multiple roles, including Sr. Software Engineer for UCS and VFrame Data Center, where significant contributions were made in test automation and networking product development. Yiru's career began at Sun Microsystems as a Software Engineer. Yiru holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University and both a Bachelor's degree and a Master of Engineering from East China Normal University in Computer Science and related fields.
