Ian Sutcliffe

Ian Sutcliffe is the current Director at PureFacts Financial and has an extensive history in the business world. Ian started their career as a Management Consultant In Residence for IBM Canada Ltd. and then became a Partner and Senior Vice President for Management Consulting at BDO Dunwoody LLP. In 1996, they became the President and CEO of Mediconsult.com and held that position until 2001. Ian also served as the Treasurer for SOSA Soaring Club from 2001 to 2003. From 2002 to 2003, they were the President, CEO, and Vice Chairman for BCS Global Networks Limited. In 2004, they became the President of Champion Managed Services and held that position until 2006 when they moved to Symcor as a Program Executive. Ian left Symcor in 2009 and became an Independent Director for Ballard Power Systems from 2013 to 2020. Ian has also been an Independent Director for PureFacts Financial Solutions Inc. and Bluepoint Data.

Ian Sutcliffe is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Accountant (CA) who graduated from the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC (formerly ICABC). Ian also holds an Executive Programs certificate from Harvard Business School and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation from the Institute of Internal Auditors. Ian has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of British Columbia.
