Nikola Serafimovski

Nikola Serafimovski has over 8 years of experience in the tech sector. In 2021, they began working as an Associate Senior Strategist for Genoa Black, where they provide strategic ownership of the Digitalisation portfolio. Nikola has extensive experience advising start-ups and scale-ups on market strategy, funding opportunities, internal resourcing, and stakeholder alignment.

Prior to this, they worked at pureLiFi Ltd from 2013-2021 in various roles, including VP. Standardization and Business Development, Director Business Strategy, Director, Product Marketing, and Communications System Engineer. During this time, they defined and drove the sales strategy for the Defence and Industrial verticals, built a pipeline of government defence contractors, and led the creation and cultivation of the LiFi ecosystem.

In 2019, they also worked as Co Chairman for the Light Communications Alliance, where they served as the catalyst for light communication technologies.

Nikola Serafimovski's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Wireless Communications from The University of Edinburgh (2009-2013), a Master of Science (MS) in Communications, Systems and Electronics from Jacobs University Bremen (2007-2009), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen (2004-2007). Nikola also attended two high schools prior to their college education.
