Andreea Iuras, Ph.D., MSP, IPMO-P has a wealth of experience in the biopharma sector, beginning with their role as a Pre-registration Pharmacist at Rompharm Company from 2010-2011, where they prepared experimental and pilot product batches under GMP conditions for EU and International markets and monitored studies for drug file approval. Andreea then completed their PhD Researcher role at the University of Nottingham from 2011-2015, where they served as the chief point-of-contact between industrial and academic stakeholders, assessing and predicting drug and excipient performance and processability.

From 2015-2019, they worked as a Scientific Investigator and Drug Product Workstream Leader at GSK, where they earned a Bronze Award for their efforts in transforming the morale of a 15-member cross-functional team. Andreea also developed a drug product CMC plan integrated with Clinical and Regulatory plans, and created an interactive training program that was rapidly embraced as an essential tool for new hires in France and the UK.

In 2019, they joined Autolus Ltd. as a Program/Project Manager, where they established the company's CMC PMO and shepherded 4 multi-stream clinical-phase CAR-T cell therapies through the stage-gate process. In 2021, they moved to Orchard Therapeutics as a Senior Project Manager, exploring a different part of the Biotech sector and gaining exposure to the development complexities relevant to the marketing application process in EU and US and to the post-approval lifecycle management of cell and gene therapy products. Andreea also created and managed easy to understand, robust, integrated development plans for real world projects and programs for late-stage and commercial assets programmes using industry-recognised best practices.

Finally, they are currently working as a Program Manager at Purespring Therapeutics since 2022, where they are spearheading the strategic development of fit-for-purpose technology solutions for project delivery/task management and program roadmaps.

Andreea Iuras, Ph.D., MSP, IPMO-P has an education history that includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham from 2011 to 2015, and an MPharm in Pharmacy from the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy from 2006 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as a Wicked Problem Solving Practitioner from the Project Management Institute in April 2021, an APM Project Management Qualification from the Association for Project Management in October 2018, an IPMO-Practitioner Certification (IPMO-P) from the AIPMO - Association of International Project Management Officers in June 2022, a PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation & Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2021, an MSP® Practitioner Certificate in Programme Management, 5th Edition from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2021, and a Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) from the Project Management Institute in May 2021.
