Carolina Pinto Ricardo has a diverse work experience. Carolina began their career in 2013 as a Master Student and PhD Student at Imperial College London. In 2013, they also became a Research Fellow at iBET - Instituto de Biologia Experimental e Tecnológica, where they published a paper titled "In vitro expansion of human cardiac progenitor cells: exploring 'omics tools for characterization of cell-based allogeneic products". From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult as a Senior Scientist, Industrialisation and Analytical Development Scientist.
