Ben Howell

Ben Howell serves as the Deputy General Counsel at PureWest Energy since August 2023, previously holding the same title at Shell Recharge from January 2020 to August 2023. Prior legal experience includes roles at Sklar Kirsh LLP, Thompson Coburn LLP, and Winstead PC, where Ben Howell worked as an attorney from March 2018 to March 2017, respectively. Ben Howell began professional career at KPMG as a Tax Associate in 2006. Academically, Ben Howell earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law between 2006 and 2009, and holds a Master of Public Accounting (MPA), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting and Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin, where studies were completed from 2001 to 2005.
