Jason Oates

Jason Oates is the Vice President at PureWest Energy, currently overseeing Environmental & Regulatory matters and serving as the Sr. Director for ESG. Prior to this, Jason held executive roles at Crestone Peak Resources and Encana Corporation, where he led government relations, public affairs, and ESG initiatives. With a background in Lean Six Sigma, Jason has a proven track record in business improvement and operational efficiency. Before his corporate career, Jason served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, where he held various leadership positions. Jason holds a BS in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the University of Arkansas.
