François Téchené

François Téchené is the current Creative Director at Purism. Prior to this, they were a Film Director at Free Seed Films from October 2012 to January 2016. Before that, they were an Ingénieur Développeur at Oahu from September 2010 to September 2012 where they worked on building and testing iOS Objective-C & Javascript client applications that connect to the Oahu services.

Téchené began their career as a Web/iPhone developer at Webwag from March 2007 to February 2011 where they developed iPhone (Objective-C), AJAX, and Javascript applications. François then became a Java (J2EE) developer for a the B2B project called Exportaya (Working with Cafam Colombia) at Cafam from January 2004 to February 2007. Their final position before becoming Creative Director at Purism was as a C#, ASP, ASP.Net developer at Domino Systems from February 2003 to December 2003 where they were part of the team building the WHSmith eCommerce backend.

François Téchené completed a BSc in Multimedia Computing at the North East Wales Institute, followed by a BTS in Informatique Industrielle at Lycée International Victor Hugo à Colomiers.

They work with Petra Kirchner - Procurement Manager, Yavnika Khanna - Head of Marketing, and Kyle Rankin - President. François Téchené reports to Todd Weaver, Founder & CEO.
