Brian Calalang, JD, BBA, currently serves as Assistant General Counsel at Purolator Inc. since July 2023 and has been an Advisory Board Member for the Hockey 4 Youth Foundation since January 2021. Prior to these roles, Brian held multiple executive positions at OLG from January 2016 to July 2023, including Vice President of Legal and Chief of Staff to the CEO. Brian’s earlier experience includes being a Partner at Hansell LLP, Senior Legal Counsel for Investments at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, and a Partner at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. Additionally, Brian contributed to the Ontario Securities Commission and Toronto Stock Exchange as a committee member. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business - York University, with adjunct professor roles in Securities Regulation at Western University.
