Anthony Barnett has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Starting in 1991, they worked as a Regional Office Manager at Apple Computer, Inc. From 1998 to 2001, they held the position of Technical Product Support Specialist at Computer International, Inc., providing technical service, sales, and support for PC's and Macintosh systems. Anthony then worked as a Senior Technical Support Specialist at Inacom Information Systems/System One Technical, where they performed end-user hardware and software support, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of desktop systems and network servers. From 2001 to 2020, Barnett worked at the University of Southern California as a Network Operations Center Supervisor, responsible for troubleshooting Local and Wide-Area networks, adding hosts to existing network schema, and modifying VLANs. Currently, they are the Network Operations Center Lead at Purple/VRS.

Anthony Barnett earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Tennessee State University, where they studied from 1979 to 1984. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in HDI Support Center Analyst from Help Desk Institute in 2015, and an ITIL Certificate in IT Service Management from ITIL Certified in 2010.
