Amitabh Chaturvedi

Amitabh Chaturvedi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive leadership experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Founder and Executive Vice Chairman of Purple Finance Ltd since March 2022, Amitabh previously held prominent roles such as Group Chief Executive Officer at Karvy from December 2019 to January 2021, and Managing Director at Essel Finance from December 2013 to December 2019. Amitabh also served as Managing Director and CEO of Dhanlaxmi Bank Limited from October 2008 to February 2012 and held the position of Group President at Reliance Capital from 2003 to 2008. Early in the career, Amitabh worked at ICICI Bank between 1998 and 2003, advancing through various positions. Amitabh Chaturvedi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai and is a qualified Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
