Edward Dao is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in engineering management and product development. Currently serving as a Consultant at Purple Go, Edward is focused on creating an innovative user experience workflow integrated with GCP Vertex AI. As Vice President of Engineering at Dao IntelLogic LLC, Edward leverages technological solutions to enhance operations, security, and logistics. Previously at Google, Edward held the role of Engineering Manager II within the Cloud Privacy & Compliance team, overseeing customer data location policies. Edward's earlier experience includes senior engineering management positions at Akamai Technologies, where responsibilities ranged from enhancing security logic at the Edge to launching cost-effective WAF product offerings. Edward began a career in software engineering at Wave Systems Corp., contributing to the development of a key product for major clients. Edward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA.
