Auction Specialist at Purple Wave Auction

Cass Hemme joined Purple Wave in October 2012 as an auction specialist. In his role, he remains client-focused by assisting customers with their asset needs while representing the territory managers in the highest ethical standard. Cass supports territory managers by providing key assistance in data capture and maintaining data submission by collaborating with other departments to support auction management responsibilities.

Cass comes to Purple Wave with a lifetime of equipment knowledge including agriculture, construction, collision repair and automotive. His father worked at a John Deere dealership his entire life, exposing Cass to the equipment industry from an early age. In 2003, his father co-founded and managed four John Deere dealerships in the central Missouri area that employed Cass before and after he graduated from high school. In his previous job before joining Purple Wave, Cass was the supervisor of a paint department that specialized in rebuilding Caterpillar construction equipment. His primary responsibility was ensuring the asset was repaired from the beginning to the end. This role included sandblasting, painting, cutting glass, rebuilding cabs and returning the asset functions back to the OEM requirements.
