Deanna Mulligan

Deanna Mulligan currently serves as CEO and Advisor at Purposeful since 2021, alongside roles on the Board of Directors for DuPont and as an Advisory Board Member for Guild Education, both also beginning in 2021. Additionally, Deanna Mulligan has been part of the Board of Trustees for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since 2019 and is a Board Member at Vanguard through 2024. Previously, Deanna Mulligan was President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Chair at Guardian Life from 2008 to 2020, and held positions as Senior Vice President of Life & Annuity at New York Life Insurance Company (2006-2007) and Executive Vice President of Market & Product Development at AXA Equitable (2001-2004). Early career experience includes serving as a Principal and Associate at McKinsey & Company from 1992 to 2000. Deanna Mulligan holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS in Business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
