Lucia Mumo

Lucia Mumo, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Pusan National University since February 2023, focusing on cascading and unprecedented climate extremes and their impacts on various economic sectors. Prior to this role, Lucia served as a Climate Change Consultant with the Adaptation Consortium, where the assessment of counties' potential for green bonds aimed at developing green activities in Kenya was undertaken. Between March 2021 and June 2023, Lucia worked as a University Lecturer at South Eastern Kenya University, specializing in climate change and crop modeling research. Additionally, Lucia was an Associate Researcher at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology from September 2018 to March 2021. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Climate Change and Food Security from Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and a BSc in Meteorology from the University of Nairobi.
