Suk-Kyun Ahn

Suk-kyun Ahn is a professor in the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at Pusan National University, where positions held include associate professor and assistant professor since September 2015. Prior experience includes serving as a research scientist/contractor at the Air Force Research Laboratory from December 2014 to August 2015, focusing on surface aligned liquid crystal elastomers under Dr. Tim White's guidance, and as a postdoctoral research associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from September 2011 to November 2014, where work involved synthesizing and investigating complex polymer topologies related to conjugated bottlebrush copolymers. Earlier experience includes an internship at Cheil Communications in July 2003, supporting advertising strategy analysis for the fast-food market in Korea. Ahn obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Polymer Science from the University of Connecticut (2006-2011) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Sogang University (1999-2006).
