Charissa C. has a diverse work experience in the design and development industry. Charissa started their career as a Production Assistant at STANDARD ISSUE NZ, where they supported the Head Designer and Production Manager in the knitwear design and production process. Charissa then worked as a Design Assistant at Oxygen Boutique, assisting in various aspects of the design room. Charissa also served as a Production Coordinator at Oxygen Boutique, overseeing offshore manufacturing for high street clients.

Charissa later joined Pacific Brands as a Research and Development Assistant, where they contributed to fabric and trim development for lingerie labels. Charissa then became a Design Assistant at Country Road Group, providing support to two Designers in the women's wear category. Charissa gained experience in high-end fashion as an Assistant Technical Designer at Aje., where they worked on leather, cut and sew, and tailoring.

Charissa's career also includes roles at Loyalty NZ as an Awards Administrator, at Sharesies as a Product Engineering Intern and Junior Software Developer, and at CC Product Design as a Freelance Product Designer. Charissa'sresponsibilities in these positions ranged from marketing administration to contributing creative direction and technical design specifications for small brands.

Currently, Charissa is working at Pushpay as an App Designer (Mid-Market App Production Specialist). Charissa'srole involves creating unique app designs for customers, implementing mobile design best practices, and conducting UX research to maximize end-user engagement.

Charissa C. completed their Bachelor of Design degree with a major in Knitwear at Auckland University of Technology from 2008 to 2010. In 2021, they obtained a diploma (level 6) in Web and UX design from Yoobee College of Creative Innovation. Additionally, they received certifications in "Fashion as Design" from The Museum of Modern Art in May 2020, "The Language of Design: Form and Meaning" from the California Institute of the Arts in May 2020, and "Exploring Your Fashion Design" from the University of the Arts London in July 2013.
