Mortada Gzar

Mortada Gzar has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mortada began their career as a Modeling Engineer at South Oil Company (SOC) in 2006 and worked there until 2016. In 2013, they joined the Doha Film Institute as a Narrative Animator and remained in that role until 2018. Mortada then worked at Splainers, Inc. as an Animator from 2019 to 2021. Mortada also had a brief stint as an Animator at Microsoft in 2021. Mortada later joined Amazon as an Author in 2018 and worked there until 2021. In 2021, they worked as a Motion Designer at Run Studios. In 2022, Mortada joined Shootsta as an Animation Lead and is currently working as an Animation Specialist at Pushpay.

Mortada Gzar graduated from Engineering College of Baghdad with a Bachelor's degree between 2000 and 2005. The specific field of study during this period is not provided. Later, they attended the University of Iowa from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained an IWP (Iowa Writers' Workshop) degree in Creative Writing. From 2016 to 2017, Mortada studied at Seattle Central College, earning a Bachelor's degree in Art/Art Studies, General. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Geological Modeling from the institution LUKOIL in September 2011.
