Kathy Showen

Kathy Showen currently serves as a School Psychologist for Putnam County Schools, starting in September 2023, providing consultation to parents and teachers and conducting psychoeducational evaluations. Previously, Kathy worked as a School Psychologist at Jackson County Schools from September 1986 to September 1996 and as a Special Education Teacher for the Kanawha County Board of Education from December 1983 to September 1986. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts (M.A.) and Education Specialist (EdS) in School Psychology from Marshall University, obtained between 1985 and 1992, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Multicategorical Special Education from the University of Charleston, completed from 1980 to 1983.
