Penny Fisher, Ed.D., has extensive experience in educational administration, beginning as a teacher at Hurricane Middle School in 1977 and progressing to various leadership roles within Putnam County Schools, including Principal at Winfield Middle School, Assistant Superintendent for Personnel/Pupil Services, and Administration Mentor. Since retiring as Assistant Superintendent in June 2016, Penny Fisher has continued to contribute as an Administrative Consultant and substitute administrator across multiple elementary schools. In addition, Penny Fisher has a background in general contracting and works part-time as a farm assistant at Pin Oak Farm. Academic credentials include an Ed.D. in Public School Administration from West Virginia University and a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction from Marshall University.
