Prashant Sharan

Prashant Sharan has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Prashant started their career at Dream Tekis Software Pvt Ltd as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for developing features using JSP, Action classes, JavaScript, and Ajax on the Struts Framework. Prashant also participated in the creation and enhancement of stored procedures and views on SQL Server 2005 and worked on generating reports using Japer Assistance.

Prashant then moved on to HCL Technologies as a Member of Technical Staff, where they contributed to the development of a Technology pack on Network Management System using Java technologies. Prashant was responsible for building flowcharts and creating procedures and device interaction packages to automate tasks in network management. Prashant also documented minutes of every Scrum meeting.

After HCL Technologies, Prashant joined Mitel as a Senior Software Engineer, where they had complete ownership of the MiCW application. Prashant handled various tasks such as developing new features, bug fixing, addressing customer issues, testing, and deployment. Prashant also worked on ICW development and created SBS reports.

Currently, Prashant is working at Putnam Investments as a Lead Developer Software. Their main responsibilities include upgrading on-premises web applications to AWS environment, redesigning batch jobs to utilize AWS Lambda and Kubernetes Cron Job, and upgrading applications to consume new internal REST services.

Overall, Prashant Sharan has demonstrated their expertise in software development, AWS deployment, network management, and project ownership throughout their career.

Prashant Sharan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from North Maharashtra University, which they completed from 2007 to 2011. Before that, they obtained an Intermediate of Science degree in PCMB from A.N.College from 2004 to 2006. Their primary education was acquired at Holy Home, where they completed their I.C.S.E. in Science from 1997 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Prashant Sharan has obtained various certifications in fields such as AWS, functional programming, networking, and Cisco security throughout the years.
