US Chief Operating Officer at Puttshack

Chris Rockwood has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in executive-level roles. From 1998 to 2017, they worked at Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, starting as a Manager at Sullivan's Steakhouse and eventually becoming the Vice President of Operations, responsible for leading operations for Sullivan's and Double Eagle Steakhouses. Chris also served as the Director of Operations, contributing to the company's transition from public to private and back to public ownership. During this time, they developed and led teams, implemented growth initiatives, and increased shareholder value. From 2017 to 2020, Rockwood worked as the President of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, where they provided executive-level leadership and had full P&L accountability for the company's owned locations. Chris collaborated with various departments to enhance operations and improve the organization. In 2021, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine before joining Puttshack as the US Chief Operating Officer in 2022. Prior to their career in the hospitality industry, Rockwood owned and operated the Conestoga Cigar Company, Inc., a direct marketing company.

Chris Rockwood earned a B.S. and B.A. degree in Business Management and Psychology from Saint Joseph's University. In 2019, they also received an Executive Certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and its implications for Business Strategy.
