Laura Toogood

Laura Toogood has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the hospitality and events industry. Laura began their career as a Meeting and Events Management Trainee at Park Plaza Hotel, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of the operations and suggested strategies for improvement. Laura then moved on to work as a Receptionist at Park Central Hotel, where they handled inquiries, maintained security awareness, and provided general administrative support. At The Royal Bath Hotel, Laura served as a Food & Beverage Assistant, focusing on maximizing profitability through upselling. Laura later became an International Hospitality Management Ambassador at Bournemouth University, representing and supporting the business course. Following this, Laura joined PPHE Hotel Group as a Meeting and Events Sales Executive and then a Meeting & Events Supervisor, where they utilized their operational background to communicate and maximize event experiences. Laura's experience in choosing the right venues for conferences and meetings continued at ITA Venues, where they served as a Senior Venue Consultant. Laura further enhanced their expertise as a Corporate Sales Manager at Go ask eve, specializing in MICE events and logistics. Laura then transitioned to Elite Vendors Network as the Head of Communications and Marketing, driving the brand's reputation and connectivity within the industry. Currently, Laura is working as a Sales Executive at Go ask eve, responsible for sales and account management. In the future, they will join Puttshack as a Sales Manager, where they will be responsible for driving event and group sales and maximizing financial performance. Throughout their career, Laura has consistently demonstrated their skills in sales, communication, and event planning.

Laura Toogood attended Bournemouth University from 2009 to 2014, where they completed a degree in International Hospitality Management with a focus on International Business. Laura then returned to Bournemouth University to pursue further studies in Hospitality Management with conference and events, but the specific start and end years for this degree are unknown. In 2012, Laura obtained certification in First Aid At Work from H.S.E Commercial First Aid Training.
