Marein Toby Zwama

Marein Toby Zwama is a Program Manager at Humanistisch Verbond (The Dutch Humanist Association) since September 2022, focusing on the Gender Identity program and promoting inclusive narratives about gender. Zwama is also a participant in the PvdAcademy for 2024-2025, aimed at engaging young members in political education. Previously, Zwama held roles as Project Manager and Communication and Campaigner at Humanistisch Verbond, Content Writer at STEAR, and Student Representative for the Euroculture Programme Committee at the University of Groningen. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in European Studies from Uppsala University and a Baccalaureus Artium from the University of Groningen, along with a study abroad experience at Osaka University. Early teaching experience includes serving as an Assistant English Teacher at Nuborgh College Lambert Franckens, where skills such as coaching and leadership were developed.
