Sjoerd-Kelum van Rijsingen is the HR Talent Acquisition Manager Middle East, Africa at PVH. Prior to this, they were with Tesla from February 2015 to March 2019 as the Corporate Recruiter / Talent Aquisition EMEA. - Actively partnering with business leaders/executives regarding the structure and performance of their current teams as well as their future headcount planning. Together they would determine their Recruitment needs and make sure that their teams were set up for success;

- Implementing Tesla's Recruitment strategy and owning the end-to-end Recruitment process (define, execute, evaluate, adjust);

- Driving the creation of clear and appealing job descriptions in order to source the best candidates;

- Training hiring managers and interviewers in conducting behavioral interviews and selecting the best candidates;

- Creating and executing local sourcing strategies in order to fulfill Recruitment needs in their fast and demanding environment;

- Building strong, managing and evaluating relations with important external suppliers, such as local universities or –at a minimum to minimize costs- Recruitment agencies;

- Creating and executing diverse network/pipeline and hiring events;

- Actively driving the internal referral program;

- Conducting initial briefings with hiring managers and follow-up with updates on the Recruitment process;

- Strong in following the right approval and hiring processes;

- Participating in the hiring process of new Recruitment team members, training and guiding them during their first months;

- Go-to-person for team members regarding processes;

- Participating in projects to create workflows that are more efficient.

Sjoerd-Kelum van Rijsingen has a certificate in management essentials from Harvard Business School. Sjoerd-Kelum also has a higher professional education in human resources from Avans University of Applied Sciences. In addition, they have a secondary vocational education in entrepreneur wholesale from Summa College. Finally, they have a general secondary education in Dutch, English, German, Economics, Mathematics & Sjoerd-Kelum'story from Plein College Bisschop Bekkers.
