Jan McCahey

Jan McCahey is an accomplished leader in risk and ethics, currently serving as the Chief Risk and Ethics Leader and Lead Partner for Assurance Quality and Risk at PwC Australia since July 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Global Public Policy Leader at PwC from July 2015 to July 2019 and Partner at PwC Australia from 2001 to 2015, where Jan was also a member of the Governance Board and led the Capital Markets and Accounting Consulting Services team. Earlier career highlights include being a foundation member of the Financial Reporting Council and serving as Chief Accountant at ASIC, providing expertise in financial reporting and auditing policies. Jan's extensive experience in accounting standards includes a directorial role at the Australian Accounting Standards Board from 1986 to 1998. Jan holds a Master of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours from the University of Tasmania.
