Madhura Mitra

Madhura Mitra is an Executive Director for Climate Change and Sustainability at PwC India since July 2023, bringing extensive experience from a successful tenure at PwC from January 2008 to July 2023, where roles included Director and Associate Director. Madhura specializes in Environmental and Social Governance (ESG), with expertise in developing guidelines for the rehabilitation of polluted sites, environmental risk management for financial institutions, and environmental impact assessments for renewable energy projects. Additional accomplishments include crafting sustainability reports for major industry clients, establishing stakeholder engagement strategies, and advising companies on e-waste management and Corporate Social Responsibility accounting. Madhura holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Energy Management, alongside certification as an Energy Auditor from BEE.
