Anita Smith

Anita Smith has extensive work experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Anita is currently the Talent Acquisition Lead at PwC South Africa since July 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at PwC, including Recruitment Hub Manager for Africa and National Recruitment Manager from 2011 to 2017. Before joining PwC, they worked as a Programme Manager at the National Youth Development Agency from 2007 to 2011. Anita also served as the Gauteng Graduate Recruitment Manager at Deloitte from 2003 to 2007 and as the National Recruitment Manager at the University of Pretoria from 1999 to 2003. Anita started their career as the Head of Department of Educational Guidance at Hoerskool Jeugland from 1995 to 1999.

Anita Smith obtained a BA Hons in Psychology from RAU in 1991 and a BEd Psig in Educational Psychology from RAU in 1990. Prior to their university education, they attended Hoerskool Secunda from 1981 to 1985. Anita also holds a certification in Inclusive Mindset from PwC, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are not provided.
