Mario Villarreal

Mario Villarreal is an experienced professional in the field of financial services and assurance, currently serving as an Assistant Manager in Assurance Trust Services at PwC Switzerland since February 2023. Prior to this role, Mario worked at KPMG España from January 2019 to January 2023, progressing from Intern to Senior Associate in the Assurance Financial Services division, where expertise in credit risk management and investment portfolios was developed while providing business assurance services to major banks in Spain. Additionally, Mario's experience includes a brief position as an International Trade Consultant at Catalonia Trade & Investment. Mario holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from UPF Barcelona School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Economics from Universitat Ramon Llull, complemented by studies at Hubei University in International Affairs and Economics.
