Alan MacPherson

Alan MacPherson possesses extensive experience in finance and reporting, currently serving as the Group Head of Finance & Reporting at Anglo American since January 2016, after holding positions as the Group Financial Controller and Group Head of Tax. Prior to this role, Alan was a partner at Deloitte from December 1996 to December 2016, and held managerial positions in tax at Andersen and Arthur Andersen between 1996 and 2002. Alan began a career in finance as a consultant at KPMG from April 1995 to November 1996 and worked as an auditor at HMRC from 1991 to 1995. Academic credentials include a degree from the University of Portsmouth.
