Coenraad Richardson is PwC’s Global Chief Risk Officer.

He is responsible for leadership of Global Risk Management from a strategic, operational and client perspective, and leadership and oversight of risk governance, strategy and compliance across the PwC network. The main focus of Global Risk Management is to drive, enable, and support the PwC network to deliver the highest quality through integrity and unwavering objectivity and help build trust and create sustained outcomes for our stakeholders.

Prior to this role, Coenraad held the position of Risk and Quality Leader for PwC Africa and was a member of the PwC Africa and South Market Area Leadership Teams, responsible for Risk and Quality across the Assurance, Advisory and Tax Lines of Service. He was also a partner in PwC Africa’s Capital Markets and Accounting Consulting Services Group, assisting multinational companies providing accounting, financial, mergers and acquisitions advisory services. Over his 20+ year career with PwC, Coenraad has lived and worked in South Africa and the United States (New York). He also has experience working in the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, Netherlands and Africa.

Coenraad is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and U.S. Certified Public Accountant (California).
