Rihards Gailums

Rihards Gailums is a seasoned professional in IT and cybersecurity advisory, currently serving as a Senior Associate at PwC since February 2024. With a background in cybersecurity from Latvijas Banka and prior experience as a Cybersecurity Supervisor at Culture Information Systems Centre, Rihards has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing cybersecurity measures. As the Director of Woodpecker Foundation, Rihards led initiatives focused on sustainable transportation through low-speed, carbon-neutral wooden vehicles. Rihards co-founded Riga High Technology University, aiming to provide high-quality, problem-solving education. Additional roles include Product Architect at Pilot Automotive Labs, Member of the Board at Latvian Startup Association, and CEO of VeriTweet, showcasing a broad expertise in technology and startup ecosystems.
