Michael Weiss, PHR

Michael Weiss, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael started their career at Aerotek as an Engineering Recruiter in 2014, and later became an On Premise Manager. In 2017, they joined Xenium HR as an HR Account Representative.

In 2018, Michael ventured into entrepreneurship and established their own company, Portland House Cleaning LLC, which operated as You've Got MAIDS of Portland. Michael served as the Owner and Operator of the business until 2019 when they transitioned to Dealer Spike LLC as the People & Culture member.

Michael continued to expand their HR experience by working as the Human Resources Manager at Portland Mental Health & Wellness in 2020. From 2014 to 2020, they also served as the Co-President of The Rimpact Foundation.

In 2021, Michael co-founded Comrades In Courage and assumed the role of President. Michael also joined PWCC Marketplace, LLC as a Human Resources Manager before being promoted to Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Chief of Staff at PWCC Marketplace, LLC.

Starting in 2023, Michael will take on the role of Operations Lead at Spring LLC, a design research group aimed at optimizing youth-serving entities in the Portland area.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated their passion for HR and leadership, constantly seeking new opportunities and challenges to make a positive impact in their professional endeavors.

Michael Weiss, PHR has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from DeVry University. Michael obtained this degree from 2012 to 2015. Michael also holds a Masters Certificate in Human Resources Management from Villanova University, where they were enrolled from 2015 to 2016.
