Jaroslaw Szalinski

Jaroslaw Szalinski has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jaroslaw is currently the Chief Executive Officer at PWN – Scientific Publishers (WN PWN SA) since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Group CFO and a Member of the Board at the same company starting from May 2021.

From 2020 to 2021, they worked as the Group CFO at Komputronik S.A.

Before that, they held the position of Sales and Logistic Director and served as a Board Member at Public Company "Orlen Lietuva" from 2018 to 2020. Jaroslaw was responsible for managing the wholesale and logistic of refinery products in several countries and achieved notable accomplishments, including significant market share growth in Baltic Countries.

From 2014 to 2018, they worked at PKN ORLEN SA as the Executive Director - Wholesale Refinery Products. In this role, their responsibilities included managing the wholesale of refinery products in multiple countries and leading the Seaborne Trading Department.

In 2014, they briefly served as the CEO of Unipetrol Doprava s.r.o, a Czech railway carrier.

From 2012 to 2014, they were the President of the Management Board at Orlen KolTrans, a Polish railway carrier. During their tenure, they achieved commendable results, such as increased transported volume and millage by locomotive.

From 2009 to 2012, they worked as the CFO at AB Orlen Lietuva, a Lithuanian oil processing company owned by PKN Orlen.

In 2009, they served as Interim CFO at BIOTON S.A.

From 2003 to 2009, they worked as the CFO at AGORA SA, a leading Polish media group.

From 2002 to 2003, they held the position of CFO and served as a Board Member at Danone Group, Lu Polska.

Jaroslaw Szalinski completed their Master's degree in Organic Chemistry at Silesian University, graduating in 1989. Jaroslaw then pursued another Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach from 1991 to 1994.
