Erik Ruis

Erik Ruis has over 20 years of work experience in information technology and project management. Erik has held leadership roles in various companies, including PXGEO and Polarcus, where they served as Head of Information Technology. Erik has conceptualized effective plans, led high-performing teams, and enhanced overall IT infrastructure in these roles. Erik has also played a crucial role in the digitalization of oilfield operations at North Oil Company Qatar and Maersk Oil. Erik has extensive experience in program management, transformation, and PMO implementation, as demonstrated by their work at OSN, Ooredoo Kuwait, and Commercial Bank of Kuwait. Erik has also worked as a Business Unit Manager at Proximity Kuwait LLC and as a Project Management Consultant at Rubicon B.V., where they managed various software and infrastructure development projects for multiple companies.

Erik Ruis completed their education with a B.Sc. in Information and Communication Technology from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the period of 1992-1998. Erik further pursued an Executive Masters in Management from Hult Ashridge from 2017-2019. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Green Belt in Project & Process Management from Lean Six Sigma, IPMA Level C from IPMA, Executing Strategy for Result from London Business School, Scrum Master from Scrum Sense, Rapid Assessment of Troubled Projects from ESI International, and Prince2 Foundation from Pink Roccade.
