Bantupalli Sairam has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Bantupalli began their career at TCS as an Assistant Systems Engineer in 1998. Bantupalli then worked as a Software Consultant at Comsoft Pte. Ltd from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, they transitioned to Agere systems where they served as a Tech lead until 2003.

Sairam then joined IBM India Private Limited in 2003, initially as an Advisory software engineer, where they worked on developing products such as Rational Rose and Rational Rose Realtime. Later, they became a Senior Software Engineer and continued their work with the Multi-Version File System (MVFS) component of ClearCase for the Windows platform.

In 2014, Sairam joined SpotDy, Inc as a Senior Data Architect. During their time there, they were involved in the conceptualization, design, implementation, and testing of their flagship product, "City Pulse." This product was designed to provide governments and government-aided organizations with insights into citizen issues, sentiment towards government schemes, and the pulse of the people.

Most recently, Sairam joined Pype in 2018 as a Software Architect, where they are currently employed.

Bantupalli Sairam pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Computer Science from Andhra University. Bantupalli attended Andhra University from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they joined the University of Hyderabad in 1996 and completed their Master of Technology (MTech) in Artificial Intelligence in 1997.
