Roman Kurbatskyi

Roman Kurbatskyi is a highly experienced software architect with a strong background in technical leadership and software development across various companies. Currently employed at Playtika since November 2021, Roman previously served as a technical lead at Ciklum, where leadership involved overseeing a 12-person R&D team to design a Bill of Materials system for Adidas. At EPAM Systems, Roman led the design and delivery of a scalable AWS-based backend platform for Refinitiv Client, utilizing cloud-native solutions. Earlier roles also include significant contributions in back-end development at SPD-Ukraine, DIO-soft, Luxoft, and PM Media LLC, with a focus on financial applications and web services. Roman began a career as a software engineer at Samsung Electronics and holds a Specialist's degree and Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
