Amitabh Sharma

Amitabh Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Amitabh began their career in 1988 at Schlumberger, where they held various roles from Field Engineer to Regional Tech Manager for a period of ten years. In 1999, they joined netdecisions as the COO and Account Director before moving on to become the Managing Director at Digital Hosting Group in 2001. In 2002, Amitabh worked at Shell as a Consultant in the area of new ventures and commercializing innovation until 2004. Amitabh then served as the Chief Operating Officer at Active Private Equity from 2004 to 2005. Amitabh joined Egon Zehnder in 2005 as a Consultant, where they worked for over a decade until 2018. Currently, they are working at Spencer Stuart as a Consultant, providing organizations with valuable insights for hiring, developing, and promoting leaders. Additionally, Amitabh holds the position of Board Director at Pypestream since 2021.

Amitabh Sharma completed their Master's degree from the London Business School in 1999 as a Sloan Fellow. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Amitabh attended the institute from 1984 to 1988, acquiring a B Tech degree.
