John Remmers

John Remmers has a diverse and extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. John most recently served as the Vice President of Operations for Luxury & Lifestyle Hotels at Pyramid Global Hospitality, starting in October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of Operations for Lifestyle Hotels at Evolution Hospitality from October 2021 to May 2023.

Before their roles in the corporate sector, John gained valuable operational experience in various managerial positions. John served as the General Manager of Hotel Derek from February 2020 to October 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Area General Manager at CoralTree Hospitality and Two Roads Hospitality, overseeing Hotel Vitale and The Marker. Their tenure in these positions lasted from December 2017 to February 2020.

John also has a strong background in leadership roles with Magnolia Hotels, where they held multiple positions including Vice President of Operations from December 2012 to December 2017, Southwest Regional General Manager from November 2011 to December 2012, and General Manager from January 2008 to November 2011.

Earlier in their career, John served as the General Manager of Hotel ZaZa - Houston from July 2006 to November 2011, and the General Manager of The Warwick Hotel - Houston from November 2003 to July 2006.

John began their career in the hospitality industry at Dolce Hotels & Resorts, where they held the position of General Manager from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, they served as General Manager at Omni Hotels & Resorts from 1994 to 2001.
