Alyssa Mehnert, LMSW, has extensive experience in mental health and social work, focusing on trauma-informed care and accessibility services. Currently serving as a School Based Mental Health Therapist at Pyramid Healthcare, Inc., Alyssa previously held roles as a Trauma Focused Therapist at Valley Youth House and Clinical Social Worker at Lutheran Social Services of New York, where trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy was provided to children in foster care. Earlier positions include Associate Director of Wellness Services and Assistant Director of Counseling/Wellness & Accessibility Services at New York Institute of Technology, where Alyssa advanced student accessibility initiatives.
