Mark Paterson

Mark Paterson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and governance. Currently serving as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at PyroGenesis Canada Inc. since February 2023, Mark provides strategic legal advice and manages the company's legal affairs, including contracts, corporate governance, and intellectual property. Prior to this role, Mark held similar positions at Tenet Fintech Group and Luxury Retreats, where responsibilities included managing legal issues for publicly traded companies and establishing in-house legal departments. Mark's earlier career includes a tenure as Director of Legal Affairs at Future Electronics and as an Associate at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and various corporate legal matters. Mark holds a BCL/LLB in Law from McGill University and a BA in Politics/History from Bishop's University.
